Biodanza and Tarot. “Death” and “Temperance”- 6 October
Discussion: The Major arcana, stages and life events. Walking the path with symbols as described by Jungian psychology at the beginning of the 20th century. Releasing through movement and exercises and recognising your beauty and desire to live.
We will be dancing the lines of Transcendence, Creativity and Affectivity.
In September we started a series of workshops with the following subjects 1.Physiological aspects of Biodanza 2.Biodanza and Tarot “Death” and “Temperance”(6 October), 3.Animals in Biodanza. Tiger and a Hippo. (3 November), 4.Biodanza and Tarot. “Devil” and “Star” (15 December), 5.Identity and integration in Biodanza (19 January 2019).

Men and women of all ages are welcome.
Guided barefoot dance and movement.
Biodanza 'The Dance of Life' is a system of creative movements which was developed in the 1960s by the Chilean psychologist Rolando Toro, and now is loved by people in 54 countries.
Every month we will be dancing double vivencias, releasing and re-energising and improving the quality of our living here and now.
The vivencias will be led by Olga Bastable and Laura Campanini.
About Olga:
Following Biocentric principles of Biodanza Olga’s mission is to re-awaken hidden resources of vitality, affectivity, sexuality, transcendence and creativity through movement. Olga has been running her weekly classes and workshops in London since 2014. Olga had has over 15 years of experience in facilitating meditation groups, festivals and managing charitable educational projects.
About Laura:
"I’m Italian and I love discovering all the potential of human relationships. For 20 years Biodanza has been a dive into an amazing adventure of the soul where I can refresh my body’s energy and rest my mind, integrating both in my daily life, to reconnect with my inner power and sensitivity. After the class we will have a chance to socialise going out in cafes or restaurants which are plenty near Waterloo station. The Venue (Waterloo Action Centre) is only a few minutes walk from Waterloo Station.

WORKSHOPS DESCRIPTION
1)Physiological aspects of Biodanza - 8 September
Discussion: Human potential and physical limitations. Health and healing though Biodanza movements. Exercises which are for balancing emotions, liberation of suppressed functions, and why Biodanza is good for confidence and releasing inhibitions.
We will be dancing the line of Vitality and Transcendence.
2) Biodanza and Tarot. “Death” and “Temperance” - 6 October
Discussion: The Major arcana, stages and life events. Walking the path with symbols as described by Jungian psychology at the beginning of the 20th century. Releasing through movement and exercises and recognising your beauty and desire in life.
We will be dancing the lines of Transcendence, Creativity and Affectivity.
3) Animals in Biodanza. Tiger and Hippo - 3 November
Discussion: The nature of human instincts and the correspondence of Animals to Biodanza movements. The agility and defence mechanisms of the Tiger and lazy affective nature of the Hippo. Getting together as a community and melting in undifferentiated contacts.
We will be dancing the lines of Affectivity, Sexuality and Vitality.
4) Biodanza and Tarot. “Devil” and “Star” - 15 December.
Discussion: The Major arcana, stages and life events. Walking the path with symbols as described by Jungian psychology at the beginning of the 20th century. Releasing and letting go through movements, exercises of liberation, gratitude to life and opening to new horizons and the power of now.
We will be dancing the lines of Sexuality and Transcendence.
5) Identity and integration in Biodanza - 19 January 2019.
Discussion: Who are you? Self-esteem and self-image. Identity and connections. We are many roles - mother-father, boss, partners and lovers. Abandoning the roles leads to transformation and strengthening your identity and empowerment.
We will be dancing the lines of Transcendence and Affectivity.
